AC Hotel Grand Rapids Downtown

This hotel was close to our venue we were attending. The rooms were clean & spacious. The bed was comfortable. There is a bar in the lobby that has a dj of Friday & Saturday nights. I highly recommend this place.

This hotel is awesome, staff was nice and the bar was fun!! Great time for bridal shower weekend or to stay to see a concert etc lots of bars nearby and things to do directly across from concert hall, we had to park in parking garage but that's okay are cars are safer there anyhow

We got a room with a king bed and it was very comfortable and enough space for the two of us. The front desk service was fantastic and the location is amazing.

We were in Grand Rapids for our 20th wedding Anniversary and chose this hotel. The rooms were modern and clean. The front desk was helpful with the questions we had. We were on the 6th floor and was pretty quiet throughout the night. High recommend this hotel if you are looking to explore Grand Rapids.

I will say the stay was perfect love the atmosphere and everyone was so nice. Love how they have a Dj on the weekend and always a different one. The drinks there are good .our room was perfect since it had a great view of downtown will definitely be returning.

I may have been a bit generous on the room rating. They are very clean, modern but spartan. Two things highlighted my stay. Location, location, location! I have to walk further on my own property than I did to attend an event at Van Andel. But better than our stay or the location was the staff. All our interactions with the staff were positive. The Morning staff, including someone walking the hallway working, were awesome. The efforts of the nightstaff on 11/9/25 were exceptional. He knew the area and made suggestions that enhanced our stay. Would recommend and will stay again when the opportunity presents, merely based on staff. Bedding was comfortable and clean. Room was spotless. Floors were laminate instead of gross carpet. I did hear my neighbors drop things occasionally but could not hear other room noise. It was an acceptable tradeoff. One thing amused me. As we prepared to depart, I turned the heat from 72 to 68 where it had been set. Within seconds, the heat kicked on and I suspect the thermostats are placebos. I prefer 68 but my wife prefers 72. If I had a thermostat that varied by so much as to not kick on at a temperature to maintain near the selected temperature but kicked on at a 4 degree LOWER temperature, I would replace it. All said, I would highly recommend this place to my family and friends. On the third floor we had a decent view of the city scape and the parking ramp we selected.

We didn't not stay at the AC Hotel. We went in to check out the bar in the lobby and ended up staying for most of the evening. It was Feb 14th, Valentine's day and the place was packed. There was DJ and the music was pumping. We got lucky with two seats at the bar and had a couple of cocktails that were pretty good. It was a fun night.

The hotel is incredibly clean, perfect location and Bria was top notch customer service. When I had an issue, she helped me figure it out with above and beyond care. The hotel bar gets very loud and lively at night (which I loved, not a complaint), the drinks are more than fair priced, the art is SO cool and the room was VERY clean.
